Data Privacy
Hydrolity publishes public-data water hardness reports and offers two voluntary actions: asking for a treatment quote and subscribing to updates. This page explains exactly what happens with your data in each case. The operating principle is simple: collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Quote request: name, email, phone, postcode, the water context of your area and the message you write.
- Update subscription: your email and the area you were reading about.
- Aggregated analytics events through self-hosted Umami (no cookies, no personal identifiers).
- Operational logs required for security and uptime.
Why we use it
Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), given through the checkbox on each form and recorded with a timestamp and the page of origin.
- To pass your request to installers who can quote the work, only if you ask for a quote.
- To send you updates about water hardness in your area and new guides, only if you subscribe.
- To understand which pages are useful, always in aggregate form.
We do not sell personal data and we do not send marketing on behalf of third parties.

Retention and your rights
Quote requests are kept while the commercial follow-up is active and then for the minimum period required by accounting rules. Subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which takes one click in any email.
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing at any time by writing to the contact address published on this site. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Lead capture status
Forms send data to our email platform (Brevo) and, for quote requests only, to installers in our partner network. If no destination is configured, the form is not shown at all: we prefer no form to a form that loses your message.
